Social Media Manager (South Africa)

Are you a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for social media? Do you have a knack for engaging audiences and building online communities? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing goals.
  • Develop and implement engaging content that increases brand awareness and user engagement across multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Monitor and analyse social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Manage influencer relationships and collaborations to increase brand awareness.
  • Design and create compelling graphics using Adobe Illustrator and/or Canva to enhance social media content.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create and implement marketing programs and promotions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and technology to continually improve our social media presence.
  • Maintain the company’s image and reputation on social media platforms.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience in social media management
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of various social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels and social media platforms
  • Analytical skills to track and analyse social media performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
